Metro Housing Collaborative works with people who are struggling to secure safe and affordable housing due to the application requirements. These include credit score, past rental history, income limitations, background checks, and other extenuating circumstances.

Metro Housing Collaborative Will:

• Pay property partners a rental incentive in exchange for securing prospects’ housing.
• Provide educational opportunities for maintaining a rental home.
• Assist tenants with issues as they arise throughout the lease term.
• Encourage ongoing communication between the tenant and the property partner.

Our aim is to develop beneficial relationships between property partners, community partners, and tenants. Ultimately, our efforts are for the benefit of those experiencing a housing crisis. MHC offers support to tenants & prospects through two programs; the Rental Incentive Program and Connections: A Shared Housing Initiative.

Individuals interested in working with the rental incentive program are best served by engaging with one of our community partners to receive support in finding housing and being referred to this program.
