Founded April of 2021, Metro Housing Collaborative (MHC) is made up of 50+ community partners from Douglas.

We have joined together to grow relationships with our neighborhood property owners and managers (POMs) to provide services and support to help end homelessness in the metro.

Our AIM

  • Our aim is to develop beneficial relationships between property partners, community partners, and tenants. Ultimately, our efforts are for the benefit of those experiencing a housing crisis.

Making Community Resources Accessible

  • Through this program, we intend to build up the network of available rental units, to increase occupant retention rates, to decrease the number of vacant units, and to make community resources accessible.

Property owners and managers (POMs) are the most valuable link to providing housing opportunities to our community. This program seeks to reward the POMs willing to rent their units to housing insecure individuals.
